Hey

cachemgr.cgi now requires hosts you want to connect to to be explicitly stated in its config file (/etc/squid/cachemgr.conf). All fixed.

How can i get in contact with someone so that can be added to the documentation?

Subject: [squid-users] cachemgr.cgi not working

Hey, i set up cachemgr.cgi as per http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ-9.html and everything looks about right.

The problem is, when i browse over to http://192.168.1.2/cgi-bin/cachemgr.cgi and click "Continue" it doesnt work.

If the hostname is "localhost" it comes back with:

Cache Manager Error
connect: (111) Connection refused

And if the hostname is "192.168.1.2" or "127.0.0.1" it comes back with:

Cache Manager Error
acl: target not allowed

If you want to check out my squid.conf it is here:
http://members.optusnet.com.au/robzy/squid.conf (114kb)

So does anyone have an idea what may be up? Or possibly help me through this?

Thanks a lot,
Rob.
