Hi,
have a look into your store.log. If there are many SO_FAIL entries try to use "diskd" instead of "ufs":
cache_dir diskd /var/spools/squid 1024 16 256
p.s. configure option: --enable-storeio=diskd,ufs
Best regards, Sergej

Hi folks,
Squid is not caching any objects here! I have an entry in squid.conf for 1GB
cache_dir ufs /var/spools/squid 1024 16 256
Cache-dir is initalized. The cachemgr says:
Store Directory Statistics: Store Entries : 10118 Maximum Swap Size : 1048576 KB Current Store Swap Size: 0 KB Current Capacity : 0% used, 100% free
Store Directory #0 (ufs): /var/spool/squid FS Block Size 4096 Bytes First level subdirectories: 16 Second level subdirectories: 128 Maximum Size: 1048576 KB Current Size: 0 KB Percent Used: 0.00% Filemap bits in use: 0 of 16384 (0%) Filesystem Space in use: 13331176/67283028 KB (20%) Filesystem Inodes in use: 46026/8552448 (1%) Flags: Removal policy: lru
Do anybody know why squid isn't caching any objects?
Thanks, Janno.
