I recently moved squid and dansguardian to a server. Everything was perfect
before, the speed was good and the filtering was perfect. I moved it to my
new server and now the speed went way downhill.
Here are some specs:
Previous system
Apple Emac: 128mb RAM 700Mhz G4 Processor 10/100 NIC
Squid 2 Dansguardian 2.6.1
My New Server
Apple Xserver G5: 1Gb RAM Dual 2.0Ghz G5 Processors 10/100/1000 NIC (but
running at 100)
Squid 2 Dansguardian 2.7.7
I can't understand why it would be running slower, I check my config and it
looks to be the same as before.
I used DGComplete as my install.
Any suggestions would be great....
