When you use a client which pipelines requests to Squid.
But this feature is highly experimental, and I doubt it is even HTTP compliant in the manner it is currently done.
Could a squid send pipelined request to a parent squid ?
No, the Squid developers (myself included) consider the implications of doing so too complicated.
