If you set system a as a parent proxy then you can use both proxies on system A and B.

That is what I can gather from an assumed definition of what you call a sub proxy.

Hello Varun
yes you can do/set siblink or parent proxy (Proxy Cascading). in squid.conf
search parent or siblink that will help you all help exist in the conf file

Subject: [squid-users] sub proxy

Hello,
I have a squid proxy server running on Mandrake 10 (system A).
System A has eth0 as gateway with fixed IP and eth1 for LAN.
I have another system (system B) on Mandrake 10 with two NICs which
is recieving internet thru squid proxy from system A.
Is it possible for me to setup a squid sub proxy on system B with eth0
recieving from system's A eth1 as gateway ?

Thanks in advance

Varun
