Hi guys, I am using Squid 2.5Stable3 and SquidGuard as a redirector. I am in a network with about 1000 PCs and all of then are configured to use squid with its address and port (no transparent proxying). When monitoring cache.log file, I frequently see ''warning: All redirector processes are busy. Consider increasing the number of redirector ...etc'. At the beginning I was running with 5 redirectors, and then increased it to 10 and then to 20 but still get the warning message. I wonder is there a better way to estimate the right number of redirector processes? Actually I think the SquidGuard site recommends not using more than one process.
