First define an auto-warming query :)... firstSearcher queries are fired when the server is started
newSearcher queries are fired when a new searcher is opened, i.e. when a commit (hard when openSeracher=true or soft) happens. Let's see your configuration too where you think you're setting up the queries, maybe you've got an error there.
