In the Apache Solr 4 cookbook, p 112 there is a recipe for setting up
phrase searches; like so:
<fieldType name="text_phrase" class="solr.TextField"
positionIncrementGap="100">
<analyzer>
<tokenizer class="solr.WhitespaceTokenizerFactory"/>
<filter class="solr.LowerCaseFilterFactory"/>
<filter class="solr.SnowballPorterFilterFactory"
language="English"/>
</analyzer>
</fieldType>
I ran a sample query q=text_ph:"a-z index" and it didn't work very well at
all.
Is there a better way to do phrase searches?
I need a specific configuration to follow/use.
