Hi, This is off-topic: If you are going to run Solr within Tomcat, please do some basic homework, or ask on a Tomcat list. Tomcat authentication is usually in tomcat-users.xml, but where that file is depends on the OS and Tomcat version. On Debian/Ubuntu, and probably other Linux distributions, it is in /etc/tomcatX where X is your Tomcat version, e.g., /etc/tomcat7 Regards, Gora
