I just have a little python script which I run with cron (luckily that's the granularity we have in Graphite). It reads the same JSON the admin UI displays and dumps numeric values into Graphite.
I can open source it if you like. I just need to make sure I remove any hacks/shortcuts that I've taken because I'm working with our cluster!
