You have a catch-22 and lack of cross-cutting experts present on the
list (at least for now).

I think you need to drop down to the level of features.

For example, Solr can output flat CSV. Can Jasper consume CSV from a
custom URL? If so, you can get at least some data from one to another.
Can Jasper consumer arbitrary XML?

If not, what can it consume? Then, see if Solr can produce that either
directly or with some store/transform/forward method.
