Hi kamaci, sorry for the late reply. I did't mean to say that we are building Solr using Maven. I meant to say that we are currently working on our own project which uses the Solr jars and wars. This project is built using Maven.
BTW, we solved the original problem by using EmbeddedSolrServer in order to set up a Solr server inside our test cases. The tests are performed during the integration-test phase of the Maven lifecycle.
