Great improvements compared to 4.0. After building the first 4.1 index I thought the index was broken, but had no error messages anywhere. Why I thought it was damaged? The index size went down from 167 GB (solr 4.0) to 115 GB (solr 4.1)!!! Will now move the new 4.1 index to testing stage and after it passes all testing it goes online.
