For this particular issue, I believe the issue is likely that you've installed LucidWorks on a Windows server and used spaces in the installation path. See <http://lucidworks.lucidimagination.com/display/lweug/Release+Notes+for+v2.1> where that is mentioned in the Release Notes. To correct, simply reinstall in a directory without spaces.
