Hello, Elisabeth I am having the same issue with WebLogic 11 with Solr 3.5. I've tried your solution and didn't work out, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.
I've tried to alter the %SERVER_HOME%\servers\AdminServer\tmp\_WL_user\solr\t6nzak\war\WEB-INF\weblogic.xml and restarted the server, but I still get the same error. That's just it? Did you remove the Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 or did you keep it as well? Is it working perfectly now? It didn't make any difference in here.
