I forgot to ask: when you say it's jetty-6 in both cases, are you running the exact same set of jetty configs for both Solr 1.4 and Solr 3.5, or is each instance using the sample jetty configs included in the example from that version of Solr? (I'm wondering if maybe this is a problem with how the jetty.xml configs have changed slightly in the Solr example since 1.4 ... a quick jira search suggests it might be related to SOLR-1941?) -Hoss
