: This problem is only occurring when using IE8 ( Chrome & FireFox fine )
if it only happens when using the form on the admin screen (and not when hitting the URL directly, via shift-reload for example), it may just be a differnet manifestation of this silly javascript bug... https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-2455 -Hoss
