-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I have a multivalued field that is effectively a list of aliases. For example for Elvis it would be:
Elvis Presley The King Unfortunately when solr does its scoring it uses the concatenation of the values - eg "king" would score as matching 1/4 of the words rather than 1/2 the words of just its value. Some of my data has 4 aliases so the additional values dilute things making the scoring go wonky. How do I convince the matching to treat each value separately? Prior messages on this subject included advice to have omitnorms on or off. Being off turns out to be a bad idea in my trials.
