Hi guys, I am wondering if having an EmbeddedServer and regular Servlet running on the same solr_home, using the former to add to the index and the latter to query it, makes sense as a server setup.
The query is not critical, if something is indexed but only later shown in query results due to caching that is okay. I did some testing and it seemed to work just fine, but that's hardly a base for production use of this method. I could not find anything about this on the mailing list or elsewhere. Anyone else have experience with this? I'd welcome any hints. - Vincent
