I downloaded the nightly build and deployed the dist/solr-nightly-build.war in tomcat with all other config same @solr.home. Trying to create a new core gave me the same error. Do I still need to apply the patch you mentioned earlier. I'm stuck, please help me out. I used this to create a new core, http://localhost:8080/solr/admin/cores?action=CREATE&name=core2&instanceDir=/opt/solr/
