Hi, I'm trying to write some code to build a facet list for a date field, but I don't know what the first and last available dates are. I would adjust the gap param accordingly. If there is a 10yr stretch between min(date) and max(date) I'd want to facet by year. If it is a 1 month gap, I'd want to facet by day.
