I guess that explains why solr1.2 worked! But what does jetty do
differently from tomcat?
No bootcamp tutorial of mine (I know you were in the ApacheCon EU Solr
Boot Camp in the spring) mucked with any directory other than the Solr
install directory. I've never put a Lucene JAR, or any other JAR for
that matter, into that directory.
I don't know what differs in Tomcat and Jetty startups, but tracking
down classloader issues can be a road to madness.
