Hi Ali, 1. Solr doesn't have any support for LDAP authentication ootb (at least, as far as I'm aware). The BasicAuth plugin requires users to be defined in the JSON configuration.
2. What failed when you ran the documented BasicAuth example? What error messages did you get etc.? If there's something wrong with that example, maybe we can fix the docs.
