I have no idea what “getting the facets in the same order as the sort docs” would mean. Even in the single-valued case, say
id rank value_in_facet_field doc1 1 32 doc2 2 76 doc3 3 3 doc4 4 76 How would facets be ordered in the same sort order as the docs? It’s much worse with multivalued fields, since a single doc can contribute to more than one facet.
