Solrj + Aliases

Hi All - I've created an alias, but when I try to index to the alias 
using CloudSolrClient, I get 'Collection not Found: TestAlias'.  Can you 
not use an alias name to index to with CloudSolrClient?  This is with 
SolrCloud 8.1.
