I don't see it in any of the java source code, so a recompile wouldn't be necessary. But most of the scripts in the bin directory and other places have it hardcoded, including the one that starts Solr. Once you start down the road of changing these things, you're probably going to be forever hunting for things that don't work right and working to get them fixed. Better to just leave it alone and be sure it'll work. Thanks, Shawn
