Also, recent versions just don't build a war _for_ you. If you insist you can build your own war file by bundling up "the right stuff". However, there's no guarantee that you'll be able to do that going forward. I have to confess that I can't guarantee you can make your own war in 7.x, and I only _think_ you can in 6x. You can probably tell I don't recommend it BTW. A quick google search turns up a bunch of hits, I can't vouch for any of them. If you'd care to add something to the Wiki above that'd be great, or even a section in the reference guide.
