I am not able to connect to remote JMX using jconsole on Solr 6.5. The Solrconfig.xml does have this XML attribute <JMX/> that states the default MBean. I want to set up JMX so as to monitor the solr nodes. I have solr cloud configuration setup. I have set the ENABLE_REMOTE_JMX_OPTS="true" in solr.in.sh file. My Solr is set up on a Linux box and I am trying to access it from a windows machine. I believe that should not restrict the jconsole to access the remote JMX.
I did specify the remote port in solr.in.sh file. Is there something else that need to be configured or do I have to specify a custom MBean.
