Seems like there is definite momentum in that direction, so I would  
suspect it will be within a month, but don't quote me on that.  One  
thing you could do is try out the trunk and report on how it works for  
you.

Also, I suspect since there are a large number of changes, we all  
should expect a series of smaller releases to, i.e. 1.3.1, 1.3.2, etc.  
to happen afterwards.
