Hello Oakley. I am not familiar with the backup process either. The analyzingInfixSuggesterIndexDir not being in the backup may not be an issue.
I would suggest you restore the backup on Solr and see whether it's created automatically for you. If not, there are many options like buildOnStartup/buildOnCommit or issue the suggest.build=true command as a post-restore operation. Arcadius.
