Hi, Please look at the SegmentsInfoHandler and visualisation in AdminUi added in Solr 5.
Maybe you could use some of informations already exposed by this Api or simply find a good place to put your changes. I'm pretty much responsible for this code so if you'll have some questions feel free to ask.
