hi Everyone I am a complete noob when it comes to Solr and when I try to follow the tutorial and run Solr I get the error message
"Waiting to see Solr listening on port 8983 [-] Still not seeing Solr listening on 8983 after 30 seconds!" I did some googling and all I found was instruction for removing grep commands which doesn't sound right to me...I have checked my ports and currently I don't have any service listening on port 8983 and my firewall is not on, so I am not sure what is happening. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Xin Cai
