use {!surround} with more conditions

Can't make surround work with other conditions...
for example:

{!surround}SomeField:30w(Text1*,Text2*)  -SomeField:Text3*

SomeField:* -{!surround}SomeField:30w(Text1*,Text2*)

Is that doable?
