The Collections API is not tied to a specific core. The URL path is /solr/admin/collections ... not /solr/corename/admin/collections. A collections API RELOAD, unlike a CoreAdmin RELOAD, does indeed apply to the entire collection. You can send the request to any Solr instance in the cloud. Thanks, Shawn
