: Did you try the unsubscribe addresses listed at
: http://lucene.apache.org/solr/mailing_lists.html

Furthermore, every Solr email contains the following headers, which modern
email clients should expose to you for "email list management" ...

  List-Help: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
  List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
  List-Post: <mailto:solr-user@lucene.apache.org>
  List-Id: <solr-user.lucene.apache.org>

...if you are having trouble unsubscribing, you should contact the
List-Help address, you should *not* send (two) mass emails to every on on
the list.

Lastly: unsubscribing causes the mailing list software used by apache
(ezmlm) to immediately send a reply asking you to verify that you want to
ubsubscribe (to prevent other people from unsubscribing you without your
knowledge). I just performed a test and verified that ezmlm replied to my
unsubscribe request within a matter of seconds. If you have not seen any
replies like this to your unsubscribe requests, please check any "junk
mail" or "spam" folders you may have ... at least one person i know had
that problem with Exchange/Outlook.
