CHANGES.txt lists Lucene version updates (the current is Lucene 2.0 nightly build 2006-11-15, SVN revision 475069). Lucene trunk should work fine with Solr, though there have been some index file layout changes that could influence the index auto-distribution (snappuller et al.). -Mike
