Wow,
This is getting so ridiculous that my email program has started putting
this thread in junk...
The spirit of Linux is to give you the tools so you can do things how
you want. You have the tools, do not expect someone else to come over
and plant/maintain your garden. Just because they can do a thing doesn't
mean they should do a thing.
There are many ways to achieve what is desired, most of which do not
require anyone other than the system admin.
If your issue can be solved without affecting others, leave them alone
and fix your issue.
