Dear Slurm-users.

I'm testing 20.02 with "Configless". Everything seems to work fine except that the PAM module slurm_pam_adopt.so complains about missing /etc/slurm/slurm.conf.
In /var/log/secure I see:

Mar 17 10:18:04 s28n08 pam_slurm_adopt[29348]: error: s_p_parse_file: unable to status file /etc/slurm/slurm.conf: No such file or directory, retrying in 1sec up to 60sec Mar 17 10:19:03 s28n08 pam_slurm_adopt[29348]: error: ClusterName needs to be specified

If I create a symlink /etc/slurm/slurm.conf -> /var/spool/slurmd/conf-cache/slurm.conf
the error messages disappears.
I think pam_slurm_adopt should check for slurm.conf in both /etc/slurm and /var/spool/slurmd/conf-cache
before it throws this error.

Any thoughts?
