Hello all, According to 3GPP specs, when 488 (warning + sdp) is received for the sent INVITE with SDP offer, a fresh INVITE has to be sent from IMS node with new offer contains the media codecs as received in 488 response.
Now in case of a SIP -> SIP call, IMS node sends outgoing SIP invite with offer and receives 488 response which contains warning header and SDP of 488 rsp contains the allowed set of media codecs + media port. Is it possible to receive such a SDP of 488 without media port? If the media port contained in response, what could be the possible use of it in IMS node? Thanks for your help.
