Marc Summers confirmed that the question is solved:
OK, got 2.0.4 working OK on Windows 10 64bit
the problem I had was that for some reason
in version 1.1.2 I was able to make a subprocess call
with out having to explicitly add
import subprocess in the script
So all I have to do is to add this to each of my
scripts, and everything works OK.
