Approx 15 sec long. This is just straight guitar, direct input. No
effects, no EQ, no compression. Should be about as clean as you can get it.

believe that Gnome also has a short test sound that is a guitar being
strummed. Either would work well. Or if you would like, I would be happy
to record something for this purpose.

I've got a couple of games handy that are DirectX 8 (No One Lives
Forever 2 is one that was close to working in 0.9, and a personal
favorite of mine), so I'll test and report back as soon as I have a few
spare moments to grab CVS, patch and compile.

Here's another patch to fix the clicking noise. Once again apply over the top.
With this one, I think everything

BattleZone2 does have a demo that can still be found online, and there
was a patch on the list not too long ago to get the demo up and running.
Again, let me know if any traces would be benneficial.

I've got a couple other apps that I can test. Will report back.

I get no errors when I patch mixer.c and audio.c. I'm patching against

Wonderful, beautiful, glorious, HELPFUL comments. Good show, mate.
I'll test it on a few games later today and report back. I think this
may also fix the 'length is not a factor of blocksize' error that I was
trying to tackle a while back.

I pare it down a bit to only the important stuff? I'm not sure exactly
