Hi all,
I noticed a little possibility to improve www.winehq.org with very
little effort:
I am talking about the default font for the website.
if you look at http://www.winehq.org/winehq_styles.css you will easily
see that the default font is "bitstream vera sans", followed by
"verdana" and "aria
Hi,
some days ago someone wrote a mail to this list regarding a book that he
or she is writing about wine.
Unfortunately I lost this mail, could the person please contact me

EU cvs on Debian 3.1.

Great, thank you! Now everything looks much better. :-)
I vote for including this option into winecfg.

Marvellous! This is exactly the solution I need. :-) Maybe I should have
been able to guess better what the "path" in winepath actually stands

Hi,
I discovered only recently a problem which is probably quite prevalent,
but I could not find the answer on the web.
Example: I want to configure Mozilla for opening .DOC files with the
free Word Viewer that can be downloaded at http://www.microsoft.com. To
do so I go to Edit -> Preferences ->
z) somewhere, cd there, run as a
normal user "tools/wineinstaller" from there. At some point it will ask
you for your root password. If you ever want to uninstall it, go to that
directory and type (this time as user root) "make uninstall".

Dear all,
the script tools/wineinstall suggest to uninstall wine first if you
update an existing installation.
This makes senses but it is uncomfortable that the script doesn't offer
the option to do that for the user. You always have to su before
installing a new version

I'll inform you tommorow about success.
Dear all,
because this step during the installation takes very long, I would
suggest to make it optional.

Hi,
sorry if this a stupid question, but I wonder why I get no new files
anymore via cvs for about a week now (may be less or more).
Are there really no updates or have I somehow misconfigured something?
I'm used to get updates almost once a day...
Thank you

This might be just a general cvs related question but hopefully someone

Is there a simple way to get informed when ever a specified file in cvs

As far as I remember the Wine documentation tree always got installed to

Yesterday I noticed that they were not copied from the source tree to
/usr/share/doc. Is this normal behaviour fo
