I got further along but no joy yet.
For salesforce.com, I have username, password and 'security token'.
In the Conductor UI , I provided values as follows.
API Account: BLANK
API key: SF_PROVIDED_SECURITY_TOKEN
Optons:
username=MY_EMAIL
password=MY_PASS
