detected invalid characters in some of the triples it is attempting to
load:

What is being reported in the load_nt.sh.log when the "retrying"
message start occor in the console log, also what is in the Virtuoso
server dbpedia.log file at this time ? As these would provide more
information on what might be causing problems ...

Hi Hugh,
I've finally gotten around to running the install script for the DBpedia
Virtuoso database, and it seems it gets to a certain stage, but things
effectively start stalling.
Here is the appropiate part of my console log:
