we fixed the issue with the dots in the local name using a small python
script to simply write full uris. however there are several other issues
with the freebase download like \n-characters in labels. the download

Note, we have been able to recreate this issue loading the latest Freebase RDF
dataset into Virtuoso and are working on a fix for this and I shall let you
know when it is available in the git repository ...
