How do I configure Virtuoso so users cannot do SPARQL queries without
authentication?

contribution factor could be having more than one rdf_loader_run()
running.

s Virtuoso doing in this phase after the loading is said to be
complete? Would it be safe to shut Virtuoso down at this time? I can
watch the load_list and the CPU meter to get a pretty good guess of
when it is done, but is there some other way I know Virtuoso is done
with this activity?

If you want to load Freebase into Virtuoso or any other triple stores, your
best bet is to use the :BaseKB product from
http://basekb.com/
The two old versions of :BaseKB, :BaseKB Pro and :BaseKB Lite, have been
through a rigorous process of evaluation. :BaseKB Lite, containing the

I agree that it’s much practical to do validation and data cleaning to RDF data
before you run queries rather than after.
If your data is clean, you can easily write SPARQL queries that do everything
people do with SQL queries and then some. If you do your data cleaning in a

Thus any implementing code which need to handle multiple result sets (ie
Hibernate/iBatis) is going to fail.

Collection classes not being used ?
The code I have looked at (the HEAD of the trunk in CVS), only seems to
have a (source) package for the JDBCType4 driver, but the comments
throughout the code refer to JDBC2. Also compiler directives are being
used etc etc...
Sorry to be so negative,

Hi,
I'm interested in Linked Data publishing and access to database with SPARQL. I'm
not totally clear about one point regarding Virtuoso Open-Source vs commercial
edition and I'd like to ask. Reading the doc, I have the feeling that you get
all the features in the open-source edition, except the
