[Virtuoso-users] Simple html escape functions?

Hi, I'm looking for some simple XML/HTML escape functions amongst Virtuoso's built-in functions, but I can't find anything other than http_value (http_url etc.) which are awkward to use for a string result (via string_output_string). Ideally I was expecting to find something similar to the PHP
