Can you please provide a list of all such messages you are receiving on
startup, as some of these can be removed but not all ?
Also, are you running a v7 instance and if so was the database built from
scratch or an upgrade of a v6 database ?

The http://myserver/describe/?url=resource service is very slow when
expecting a text/html answer. However the same request and expecting an
application/rdf+xml document is very fast.
For instance, the following request takes more than 1 minute

and restarting Firefox ...
You are right, it had nothing to do with
DB.DBA.RDF_DEFAULT_USER_PERMS_SET() .
When I started a new, empty database I ran into the same situation...
