You need to first set the VIRTUOSO_HOME environment variable to point to the
location of the Virtuoso installation such that it knows where to locate file
and directories etc. This step was missing from this part of the documentation
probably during a reshuffle of the document when the ODBC

I am doing a university project for which I have downloaded virtuoso open
source.
I am using windows 7.
I am stuck as I can not run the very first command.
I.e. when I type "cd %VIRTUOSO_HOME%\database" in the command prompt all I get
is
"The system cannot find the path specified"
