i didn't realize my sparql endpoint defaults to text/html
for sparql queries with missing accept headers...

The remote endpoint ( i.e., http://tuqs.semantic-web.at/sparql/UKAT )
returns HTML instead of expected result set and Virtuoso fails to parse
it. I'll get more details later today.

This is a generic option available across all OS’es, to use add the following
to the param to your Postgres ST Driver DSN in the odbc.ini file:
MultipleActiveStmtsEmul = Yes
